Open Book

During my trip, I've had 3 nights in a row of strange dreams. I think I'm losing myself inside, I don't know if it's just some stirring in my sub-consciousness. Or maybe I'm thinking too much? But the freakiest thing is that these dreams are continuous, like I'm watching a TV drama. The person in the dream is called Tim. Yes, it's the SAME Tim from an old post.

1st night:
I'm running, crying at the same time. I arrive at this school, half dead with exhaustion. Everything's a blur of red, blue and white. The lady at the counter says Tim has left for Hong Kong already. I remember he sings, I search for choirs and I find his name in the DBS book. But he's gone. I cry in despair. I find another lead, I glimpse him but he's gone like the wind. I was so close to finding him! No! I cannot fail. I must not let the trail go cold. I search for him again and find his mentor. He's there! Yes, I can see him! But he's so far away. I call his name but he doesn't look my way. He walks away, I pursue him but he's too fast.

2nd night:
I'm at a conference. Still searching for Tim. I see him right next to me in a suit with a purple and red tie. He's getting up from the sofa, I yell his name. Yes! He looks in my direction. I grab his hand. A million questions run through my mind but all I say is, "You're here." We're running now, laughing. I ask him all my questions but he doesn't answer. Why? He's got something to hide? We arrive to this church, we're late for something. Tim is getting scolded. He recites something while crying, everybody is quiet and I stand up, smiling.

3rd night:
We're talking in a restaurant, remembering good times. I say Blockbuster and it turns into a stage. Tim is standing next to me, smirking, "I told you I can make anything happen." We see his sister in a blue dress. She's laughing and smiling. We talk but when I turn my head, Tim is gone! No! Where did he go? I whirl around and see him walking in a sea of people. I try to get to him but people just keep getting in my way. I cry his name but he doesn't seem to hear me and disappears.

Every night, after I wake up, i have a sudden urge to find Tim in real life. I want to ask him questions. Where is he? How is he? I need to hear him, talk to him, see him, to remind myself he is not just a fragment of my imagination. But I think I can find him, I have a gut feeling that in the short time we met, he has been dropping me hints. If I follow the leads, I think I can find him. But I can't remember clearly how was it. And I can't help feeling that I have failed him. Maybe I should talk to Vicky because I share these secrets with her. Not with anyone but her.

Point Blank

Hi everyone! :) Just got back from the airport, ate a really quick dinner, showered for 10 minutes (which is rare because to me, showers are really important so I like to take my time especially after coming back from a trip), turned on my Mac and Wi-Fi in the matter of 3.2 seconds and now I'm blogging like there's no tomorrow! :) My dad says I'm like a drug addict to the Internet now but if you didn't get your hands on anything CLOSE to a computer (I didn't even touch my mom's phone) for 8 days, I'm sure you'd do the same.

Not going to explain everything that happened in the trip because: one, it was basically 70%+ a CL History lesson, we went to museums and old Chinese palaces for most of the time so I doubt you'd be interested. :/ Two, I want to do another post ASAP because it means a lot to me.

But the highlight of the trip was the largest ice sculpture exhibition in Ha Er Bin. Seriously amazing. You should really go there, battling the temperature of negative 23 degrees Celcius is worth it. Yes, you heard me, it was THAT cold. I had to wear two pants, one was a normal pants, the other one was a special one for cold weather and was super thick, two long sleeved undershirts, a woollen sweater, at least two parkas and when you went out, you MUST have a woollen hat, gloves, earmuffs and a scarf that would preferably cover most of your face or else your face'll be really painful because of the cold. And you had to have special shoes. Mines were boots that were really thick, had a woollen interior and had thick soles to keep the chill out. Two socks, one normal and one really thick were essential.

I'll post pictures soon but not tonight. Sorry, I want to do other stuff first. Like another blog post! :) It's coming out in about 30 minutes after I post this one.

Sorry again I couldn't RIGHT ON Christmas Day. :( I hope you all had a nice Christmas. I sure did, in fact it snowed on that day! :) Maybe I can skip travelling next year and stay here with all of you and let Momma and Daddy go since they haven't had much alone time for quite a while. And I hope you all felt God's wonderful love and care on that day! Remember, it's not about Santa, but God's blessing that came: Jesus. His only son came to us to teach, love, purify us and be sacrificed for us. He was thinking of us on the cross. He died for us. He shouldn't have but He loves us so much that He did.

And tomorrow's the last day of 2011! So who wants to hang out with me for the whole day until midnight? :)

Okies, time to start a new blog post. Warning: Might be a lil' emotional.

In with the new

Good evening everyone. :) *thinks of Count Dracula when he welcomes Jonathan into his manor*
Just showered and finished my second CL homework of the week which involves writing more than 300 words. But I did the Book Report on the spot and for this zuo wen, I copied my P6 works and changed it a little bit. :) Then I have to use what little time I have left before I go to the airport tomorrow to finish my Art homework.

*10 minutes later*

Okay, I got back from the website I was supposed to hand in my work but WHAT DO I FIND? I find a fucking video that I'm supposed to create an ending for! Or I have to read a crappy CL book and talk about it? The bitch humping fuck? I spent so much time doing stuff and I get THIS in return? So fuck it.

Better go now and finish it. (Actually, start on it)

Good night and wish me good luck.

Positive

Since I'm going away for quite a while, I'm going to blog as much as I can now. :) Happy?

Okay so I read this article about being positive makes you healthier. It can't hurt to try right? So I'll start on looking at DGS in the positive way.

  • When we have morning assemblies, sometimes we go overtime and we get lesser time for the first lesson, especially if the first lesson is CL. ;)
  • Having different sets with a mixture of classes gives you the perfect opportunity to make new friends and if you have trouble, you can always ask them for help!
  • Having genius classmates means you can always ask them for help with homework.
  • Classmates are incredibly loyal and helpful. You can ALWAYS count on them for help and comfort! :) It's like cool water on a hot day when you're in trouble and someone smiles and helps you.
  • Most teachers have the same interests as students (No kidding!) so they are usually co-operative with us for some extra stuff like interviews and mock Quidditch games. (Yes, teachers do love HP)
  • Some teachers are old girls. They understand us more and are generally more friendly!
  • Since DGS has been in the same campus (except when it moved to the temporary campus when the old campus was under construction), the shops/bakeries are usually DGS girls-friendly and sometimes we have discounts! :)
  • Awesome library! No offence, SIS people but I say our library's facilities are better. We have awesome tables like the ones in offices so we have private space and at the same time, we have super big tables for projects so we have ample space!
  • Mini bazaar is full of DGS stuff to buy so most of our stuff are pretty unique and no one else can buy! :)
  • Old girls provide excellent guidance and help.
  • We can go out during lunch and able to grab coffee or something to keep awake and buy something for the project due later!
That's all I can think of, unfortunately, I just found out I have more CL homework so I might not be albe to blog so much anymore!
Anyways, have an awesome holiday! :D

Emmanuel

Early merry christmas everyone! :) It's a bit early but it's because I'm flying tomorrow and won't be here on the actual day, the next time I blog will probably be on the 31st of December. Just go back from school! Today was last day and I had the audition for "Le Petite Prince". I was supposed to be Fox or Rose but after I said my lines, they asked me to try Prince. I hope I get a role in the play, but I'm neutral for Prince because he's the main character and that means a lot more lines, actions, rehearsals which will lead to more time lost to practises that could be used for more important things like doing homework so I won't need to sleep late because I live further than others and I need to wake up earlier than others in the morning.

So here's what happened today...
Arrived at school and went to auditorium but it was the prize presentation first. So bored, nearly fell asleep. Then went back to classroom for form period and it turns out that our class game stall at the Mini Bazaar yesterday earned $4000-6000. Yay<--Even though I didn't do anything at all. :P Then there was a break then we had to go back to the auditorium for the End of Term and Christmas Service. The school's church choir was there as well, we sang hymns (carols, actually) and listened to bits of the Bible that depicts Jesus's birth. Then at the end, Mrs. Lau wanted us to sing "We wish you a Merry Christmas". We were kind of stunned and didn't know how to react then she actually sang into the mic quite awkwardly. Imagine, your 40-50 year old headmistress singing "We wish you a Merry Christmas" into the mic in front of the whole school that was totally silent. But we picked up her lead and it was fun! :)

Just a gentle reminder, Christmas is NOT about partying, shopping, vacations. No, it's about the birth of Jesus. He came down to Earth to purify us and teach us the way of God. He was the perfect teacher, example and Saviour. He died on the cross thinking of us, he taught us the way to live and saved us from death. On Christmas, we should thank Him, praise Him and pray to Him. :)

Merry Christmas and a Happy new year everyone! :)

What pressies do you want from Santa this year? ;)

Do you decorate your home for Christmas? I used to but since I travel more now, I don't anymore. Sad, I want to. :(

Desserts are one of the many delights I look forward to! :9 Yum!

Happy New Year, my wonderful bloggers/followers/friends/stalkers. ;)

Fete

Good afternoon everyone! :) Better mood today than yesterday! Because I got my character and time slot for the audition. The only thing now is I have to memorise the script. Ugh. No!

Anyways, I went to the Mini Bazaar today. Reached school at normal time, bought the DGS Mag. Then I passed time by playing the balloon version of volleyball in the classroom. Then there was the opening ceremony. Didn't pay attention at all. Then rushed down to the sales stalls to buy stuff because if you're late, nothing will be left because there is a lot of nice stuff there. I tumbled down half of the staircase because so many people were pushing. Then Jose and I lined up for products. Actually Jose stayed in line while I checked the prices of other stuff and what were the other products. Then we bought hand warmers, notebooks, post-its, files, watches, bags... It's okay, I guess.

Then at 12pm, Jose and I sneaked out to have lunch with my mom. Came back and gave my mom a tour while Jose returned to 1W classroom. Then my mom left and I went back to the 1W stall. Went to a ghost house stall with Doris. I think we wrecked it. I grabbed ornaments, screamed loudly on purpose and when they gave us eyes covers, I walked into tables and got lost. When I returned for my shift, there was barely anything to do. I just sat down there and chopped stamps for the winners. Then at 3pm, started to clean up but Jose and I went to see if we could redeem any prizes. We didn't though. Then we left at 3.40pm. Same time for each day.

Notebook that I bought.

Computer case

The annual DGS 5A magazine. Filled with awesome stuff! "Fete" means to celebration of something wonderful, in this case, the return to 1, Jordan Road.

Tea coaster. Whoops, upside down!

Ah, right side.

Environmentally friendly bag. Didn't open it cause I was too lazy to.

Post-its.

File.

Hand warmer.

Watch.

Side of bag.

Other side of bag.

Personification

Hey everyone. No usual smiley face today because I'm in a SUPER bad mood. I'll come to that later. So nothing much happened today, after morning assembly, we watched "The DGS Girl". It was kind of boring and Jose and I just made everything LOOK wrong so Doris kept punching us. Then she high-kicked us and we were like, "Pedo alert. Pedo alert." It sounded really robotic. Then we prepared the classroom for MB (which is tomorrow). Jose and I made a lamp post thingy, like the one in Narnia. :P
Anyways, I'm in a bad mood because...

  1. I signed up for the Drama Ensemble's audition for "The Little Prince" a while ago. They replied my email with "noted with thanks", so they wrote down my name right? So yesterday, they sent another email saying that the scripts needed for the auditions were attached and memorise the lines according to the character you were assigned. THE FUCK? I didn't even receive any names I was supposed to act! What kind of bitch humping shit is that? Then there was this audition schedule. Guess what? The crappy schedule didn't have my name on it AT FUCKING ALL. So I emailed them today and I'm waiting for the reply.
  2. Last night, my mom wanted to go to Park n' Shop today. Then I told her to wait for me to came back to school and she promised she would. But today, when I came back, she called and said she was already at the supermarket buying stuff. The motherfucking hell? So I told her to wait for me to finish checking my email and come back FIRST BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING. And she did. AN HOUR LATER. Why? Turns out she had already bought everything. The shitty fuck? I told you so fucking clearly to wait for me. What kind of mother are you? And just a month ago we read this Chinese idiom story about parents should keep their promise to their children so the children would follow their example and not promise others and not doing the thing. AHAHAHAHA. Yes, mom, you are so awesome.
I hate people who promise to do something and don't do it, WITHOUT A GOOD EXPLANATION. So irresponsible and unreliable. That happened to me twice today. Not once but twice. So if the DE doesn't send me my character soon and adjusts the audition schedule, I am so going to quit. Because the DE actually let me down once already.

Before I got in, I signed up for auditioning for the DE. I signed up for both Acting and Scriptwriting. When I got to the audition, they asked me for the script that I prepared. I was like "WHAT?!" Then they said they called me before. The damned hell? Then I faintly remembered my dad telling me that someone wanted to call me but it was already 11pm. The fuck? Call so late, everyone asleep already! And they didn't call back the next day. So it was so their fault and when they called, they didn't leave their number. I let them go that time and I only got in the acting department but if I don't get to even AUDITION this time... Well, DE, kiss one of your members goodbye.

And remember some time ago I signed up for RTHK Competition? We got in and we're supposed to do workshops or something then go for the finals. So I guess when the DE lets me down twice, I'm going to let them down twice as well. For the RTHK Competition and the acting department. DE, it's your choice.

Ginger Megs

Good evening everyone! :) Did you have a nice day? Bet most of you slept in until like, noon for Christmas Holidays. Guess what? I don't get a break from school until 23rd December. What's worse is that the other kids don't mind because they all love DGS so much.

This morning was had our usually morning assembly. Talked about Christmas. ;) Then we had this Open Forum where the Headmistress and other teachers listen to our problems and comments on the new school campus and stuff. It was so freaking boring. I nearly fell asleep. Then we had this drug survey. It had all those ridiculous questions like: Do you take drugs like K-Zai/Marijuana? Bitch, please. If we did, we would've been arrested already instead of filling out the paper. But the best part was the promo for the 5A Magazine. It's a magazine written, edited and printed by 5A English. (It means Form 5, Set A for English) On the video, it showed how they made the magazine. They wanted to take a picture of a DGS girl holding a whole giant bunch of balloons but it kept flying away and they had to chase after it. Then it showed the Math teachers doing Math brain teasers or something and the Math teachers were crazily copying answers from each other. :P Then they pretended to play Quidditch and got it on tape. Basically, it was just girls and teachers on brooms and mops running around the gym.

Then we had carol singing. There was this little skit and the angels in the skit came into the audience to ask how they celebrated Christmas. Jose wanted to say she ate angel meat to celebrate and I wanted to say I decorated my home with dead/dried angles. We sang carols and apparently, I was totally off-key and everyone was just staring at Jose and I. =_= So sad. And to say I was once in choir. Then we were singing a carol and they had the lyrics shown on the Powerpoint. They kind of skipped a few verses which was a slide and I said aloud, "Aren't we going to sing that?" And all of the students HAD to fall silent at that very moment so I sounded like the loudest person in the world. And everyone stared at me. At the end, we got to light a candle! But I lost concentration after that because I was just so creeped out how to not let the dripping wax fall onto my hand. There was this girl who actually could light the candle out but pinching the flame for a second. She said it didn't hurt when the timing was short enough. It was freaky! I blew mine's out but I epic failed for the first 15 times. I blew on the flame but it kept appearing again!

After lunch, we had a Christmas film. So boring. Then it was the end of school! :D Tomorrow, after assembly, the whole school is watching "The DGS Girl" film. It's the musical for the celebration of the 145th Anniversary of DGS. (This year is the 151th anniversary so it was made when we were in PY) Might be sleeping in that time. Afterwards, we're going to prepare for the Mini-Bazaar. Yay! I'm kind of excited for it because I've never been to one!

Alright now, I'm getting sleepy, going to catch a pre-dinner nap!
Cheers,
Rachelle.

Operation Stormbreaker

Thought I'd share these AR quotes with you! :)

Alex Rider: What is this place? Hogwarts?

Alex Rider: I'm too young to die!
Darrius Sayle: You're never too young to die.

Alex Rider: If this is what you do to the winner, I'd hate to see how you treat the runner up.

Alex Rider: This doesn't change anything. You killed my uncle. You're still my enemy.
Yassen Gregorovich: I have a lot of enemies.

Alex Rider: What about me?
Yassen Gregorovich: I had no instruction concerning you.

Alex Rider: This isn't over.
Yassen Gregorovich: Yes, Alex, it is. Go back to school. You don't belong to the same world as me. You should forget about me.
Alex Rider: I'll never forget you.
Yassen Gregorovich: That's your choice.

Alan Blunt: We want you to work for us.
Alex Rider: You're not being serious.
Alan Blunt: Actually, it's not my habit to make jokes.
Alex Rider: Well, you're making one now! I don't want to be a spy. In case you haven't noticed, I'm still at school.

Alex Rider: Mr. Grin, can you hear me?
[silence]
Alex Rider: Mr. Grin?
[silence]
Alex Rider: Ok, Mr. Grin, I want you to take me to London as fast as you can!
[Mr. Grin turns the helicopter sharply

[re: his Physalia Physalis]
Darrius Sayle: It reminds me of myself.
Alex Rider: It's 99 percent water, has no brains and no anus.
[pause]
Darrius Sayle: [laughing] I think I'm going to like you.

Nadia Vole: It's a fishing village.
Alex Rider: It's nice.
Nadia Vole: Not if you're a fish.

[Darrius Sayle is on a large TV screen in the MI6 Headquarters, giving an interview to the BBC]
Alan Blunt: [pauses the video and stands up] We don't trust him.
Alex Rider: Why not?
Alan Blunt: Well, we don't trust anyone. It's sort of what we do.

Darrius Sayle: Darrius Smell. That's what they called me. Do you know why they called me that?
Alex Rider: Because you didn't wash?

[Alex dings a Xylophone]
Mr. Smithers: Don't do that!
Alex Rider: Why, is it dangerous?
Mr. Smithers: No, it's very annoying.

Nadia Vole: You are ze first child to experience ze power... ze vorld domination, of ze Stormbreaker. Zis model has already been loaded vis highly developed programs for all aspects of ze school curricular.
Alex Rider: Does it have pinball?
Nadia Vole: Zere ist no "pinballs"!

Jack Starbright: What the heck are you doing? That's Ian's stuff!

Jack Starbright: Is it just me or are those bankers weird?

Jack Starbright: I met the most amazing guy down at the fish market today.
[Alex, who's heard this MANY times before, sighs and rolls his eyes]
Jack Starbright: You know what the problem with this country is, though? Every good-looking guy is either gay or married. Except for *you*, but you're too young.

Alex Rider: What kind of people are you?
Alan Blunt: Ones that normally get their way.

[Sayle's security guard faces off with Alex. Alex bows. The guard returns the bow - and Alex kicks him in the crotch]
Alex Rider: Schoolboy trick.

[after one of the canisters crashes to the ground]
Clumsy Guard: I'm sorry! I won't do that again.
Yassen Gregorovich: No, you won't.
[shoots him

Jack Starbright: [in Japanese] Good day at school?
Alex Rider: [in Japanese] Why are we speaking Japanese?
Jack Starbright: [in Japanese] Because we're having a special dinner.

Alex Rider: You're going to kill thousands of innocent people.
Darrius Sayle: No, no, of course not. I'll kill millions.

That time of year

Seasons greetings everyone! :) Did you have a nice weekend? Or did you have an AWESOME time at the VSA Ball? Bet you did. ;) Just came back from riding and showered. It was a pity that we couldn't go out on the hacking trail today, it would've been nice to go out for the whole lesson today, it was sunny and cool and that kind of weather is perfect. But all we did was just going around the whole arena. How boring. Anyways, last night I went out with my parents to Aberdeen to buy stuff for the trip. We bought Granola bars, disinfectant tissues, medicine... Stuff like that. We plan to buy more stuff later in the week. Then today before riding, we went to Central to buy snow shoes, thick socks and snow pants. It wasn't that nice, walking around today. I was dizzy and had a headache because... well, if you're a girl, you'll understand. I wanted to collapse for more than half the time and the colours of the clothes and stuff just made me even more dizzy. Luckily my head cleared up just in time for riding.

That was pretty much what happened today. Nothing much. Now, I shall move on to the "DGS Weekend." Even though I have never been to the Mini Bazaar, I will tell you how I think it's like...

It's like SIS Christmas Fair but, in my opinion, the MB is much better. Well, for once, we have Froyo! With discount. Yep. That's cool! Then we have a lot of our homemade stuff. We have DGS notebooks, earphones, watches, paper, USBs, keychains, umbrellas, scarfs, pencil cases... Pretty much every accessory you need and want. Then we have A LOT of stalls. The S1 and S2s are doing simpler stuff but ALL the S3 classes are doing haunted houses! :) Then there are other stalls that gives you pedicures and hairsprays your hair into different colours. Not that I like to have pedicures and stuff but it's nice to have professionals work on you for only $20 dollars! :D

But there's so much work backstage. For the game stalls, the PICs work their butts off just to assign everyone posts, decide what to do and how to do it. For sales stalls, they have to order, calculate the prices and stuff like that. Moreover, the prefects have to oversee pretty much everything and there are only that much prefects and so many things to take care of.

Okies! That's all for the "DGS Weekend!" :) Thanks for reading it my dear and loyal followers/friends/stalkers/bloggers!

Bullets and bandages

Hello everyone! :) In the middle of my CL Book Report. I lost concentration after writing three sentences and went on the Internet. :P So distracted and my book report is so shitty.

Watched "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" this morning. It was so awesome! :D But 65% was about political stuff and the bad guy did the bad stuff because he wanted to have a World War or something like that so I couldn't really follow it. That's why I prefer the first one now.

Then I went to eat Ramen and went to Park n' Shop after the movie. I came home and started on the report (which isn't a lot...). Sigh...

Okay, returning to the "DGS Weekend" thingy...

This is the second post and I'm going to give you the inside tour of everyday life in DGS. Might be boring.

When we have the core subjects (Math, Chinese and English), we split into different sets and go to different classrooms. Set A is for the best then B, then C, and Set D is the worst. But those sets are only for students of S1U, W and X. The classes 1Y and 1Z have Set E-G. The first three S1 classes are geniuses and the latter are more talented in the Arts and Sports than academics. I'm in 1W and I'm Set A for EL, Set B for CL and Set D for Math. The other subjects like History and stuff are for the whole class.

Every morning, we go to the Auditorium for worship. We sing hymns and listen to Bible passages and teachers talking about their thoughts on the passages. Sometimes the students lead the worship and that's much better because there's usually music and funny skits. I especially love it when there's special events like Prize Presentations or stuff because when the Morning Assembly runs late, the shorter the first lesson will be! Especially when it's CL or Math or History!

Monday
1st period-PTH lesson. So useless, we're just re-capping stuff that we learnt in P1.
2nd-EL. My favourite lesson! Partly because the teacher is awesome, we get to do cool stuff and the teacher speaks GOOD English.
3rd- Science. Boring stuff for this year. Re-capping everything. Groan.
Recess for 20min.
4th-Math.
5th- Form Period. A.k.a Homeroom. We usually discuss class matters or listen to talks by special guests.
Lunch for an hour. We can go out! It's one of the few perks in DGS.
6th-Home Ec. The class is split into two groups and we switch around, one group learning about Fashion and Textiles and the other doing cooking which is more boring than it sounds.
7th- CL History.
And school ends at 3.40pm.

Tuesday
1st- Music. We sing hymns and learn about different instruments in the lesson and for the Music test, we can either sing a hymn or a chosen song which is not Pop, or we can play any kind of instrument. I will play recorder for every test. I played Do-re-mi for the Mid-years. :P
2nd-CL.
3rd-EL.
Recess.
4th-5th-LS
Lunch
6th- Math.
7th- Religious Education. A.k.a RE.

Wednesday
1st- History
2nd-3rd period- CL. ARGH! IT'S TORTURE!
Recess
4th- Math
5th- English
Lunch
6th-7th- PE

Thursday
1st period- Geography
2nd- Math
3rd- Science
Recess
4th- History
5th- IT. So sad, we don't work with Macs.
Lunch
6th- CL
7th- EL

Friday
1st period-CL
2nd- Math
3rd- Art. Disgusting.
Recess
4th-5th- EL.
Lunch.
6th- RE
7th- Science

The Legacy

First post of "DGS Weekend".

Besides the pressure of studies, DGS girls face another massive responsibility: Uphold the school's honour and be the legacy.

We need to uphold the school's honour because our school is one of the most famous schools in Hong Kong, we are expected to be like our older sisters, to follow in the footsteps of our old girls. We are expected to be either geniuses, world-class athletes or professional musicians. The public thinks we are naturally destined to become powerful, famous and the female heroes of the modern world. We are supposed to be the best of the best.

It's not just achievements. When your in the dress, you are the perfect lady. You have perfect manners and you know how to look awesome yet classy. Yes, in DGS, you are trained to be perfect. When you're in your tracksuit, you are expected to be the professional athlete.

Let me tell you, that is NOT easy. Trust me. Everyone, watching you with such high expectations. You won't feel good, you won't feel any better when you can't meet their expectations and when you don't, people won't like it and feel disappointed. Disappointed at you. Disappointed at the school. Simply saying, when you are representing the school, wearing the uniform, you need to be excellent or no one will bother paying you any attention. They won't care. And you won't like it. I hate it when I'm expected to do things like that but we have no choice. You either give 100% or you don't bother.

I am a SI. That means I'm the new generation of the legacy. The legacy is basically DGS girls being powerful, famous and female heroes of the modern world. There are girls all over the world who are authors, scientists... We are expected to follow in the same way.

See, life is hard. This is what a big part of life in DGS is like. :) Hope you liked this post. There's more to come! :D

Iridescent

Good evening everyone! :) I'm back from the Marymount Secondary School's Talent Quest a.k.a. concert that I went to to do my Music report and I'm also exhausted from the trip to Noah's Ark today. Phew. So tired!

Anyways, I arrived at school at 7am or something and we left for Noah's Ark at 9am. We got there and we went to this exhibition that introduced the Ark. There were fake animals which were totally lame and REAL animals that were MUCH better. We also got to measure our worth. I worth $362 something dollars, apparently, I am the most priciest one among Sharron, Doris and Jose. Yay? Then we went to have lunch. It was SUPER expensive and it wasn't that good. So I ended up eating Pretz and sausages that I brought. Jose and I fooled around with the sausages by trying to squeeze the WHOLE thing out of the plastic and pretending to give it blowjobs. By then people tried to stay as far as possible from us. Hehehe... Then we went to these rooms with AWESOME activities. There was these two glass boxes and in each one was a chair and three strings that you could pull. If you pulled on the right one, water would come out, if not, balls. You could wear a raincoat but at first, Jose didn't want to but when she saw people get drenched, we all wanted one. The other people were so scared but when Jose and I were inside the glass boxes, we were laughing our heads off. The we went to this room where we could pretend to be doctors and cooks. There were the most complete and realistic sets of doctor and cooking toys. It was awesome. I haven't played with it for a REALLY long time and Jose and I went hyper and started to give everyone ridiculous check-ups like claiming they had pneumonia, a temperature of 105 degrees Celsius and we scared a lot of people away... :P You get the point, I was so happy there. Then we went to this 2 Head Castle were it had animals that had two heads. It was so cool! But most of the animals were turtles and spiders. I wish I had 2 heads, so I can think of more ideas and talk to someone. Then we went to this 3-D cinema to watch a short movie about life after the Ark in this theatre. Apparently, this teacher call Mr. Doherty was our supervisor for the trip and for some stupid reason, loads of girls had crushes on him and stuff and in the theatre, Jose crashed into him head-first accidentally. And the whole S1 of DGS saw and went squealing like mad. How stupid. He's just a teacher, not an unicorn! Such idiots.

Then after the visit, I went to MSS for the concert. I first went up to my mom's office to sit down and I found out that when you're a teacher, the other staff, students and PTA LOVES to give you really good Christmas presents! My mom now has so much chocolate and new stationary. All later taken by yours truly... :P Around 6.45pm, I went down to the Hall and watched the show. Singing was first and for the VIP, METRO came! Yes! The 4 guys that came to SIS perform! :) They're still awesome. The students' singing was average and when they sang K-POP, they missed and slurred the lyrics. AND we don't even know what the freak are they talking about! But their dancing was really good though. There was  another VIP who was a local pop star and I saw her but I don't even know who was she. There was also supposed to be a star from TAIWAN (wow, so powerful) coming but I left early and didn't see him.

Just so you know, I'm doing a "DGS Weekend" this weekend. It's about how DGS is REALLY like because it's the Mini-Bazaar next Wednesday and I thought it would be nice to do a little "heads-up" for it. :)

P.S. Don't like to read the "DGS Weekend" thing, don't bother coming on this site for the weekend.

Dove

Finally back from school! :)

Today I had stress management workshop and Christmas PARTAY! :D I arrived at school like three hours earlier because I took school bus. Some other people who took school bus also arrived at the same time. In that time, I read AR and lectured about bitches, how to diss them, prank call and about intercourse. I still have to continue about how to make it feel good and other ways of prank calling tomorrow morning. Yes, after I came into DGS, I have become somewhat an expert on it. And my "students" (classmates, actually) really listened to me! I feel so important! :P

Stress management was so fun because I didn't even listen! I was just talking about stuff with Jose, Doris and others. Then we had to sit in a circle and I kept standing in the middle and Jose put her arm in the middle and both of us put our finger in. (If you're dirty-minded, you know what I mean.) Then we had to guess a number or something and, of course, the first number that jumped into Jose's and my head was "69". And at the same time, Jose downloaded "Plant Tycoon" on her iTouch and kept saying, "I need to pollinate my flowers!" and "I wonder if my plants are sold yet." Then we were supposed to write down our worries on a sheet of paper, fold it into an airplane and fly it across the room. The ones I got were about "too much classes" and "parents scolding about exam grades". When they asked e to stand up and say how to solve the problems, I said "Two words: Your problem. (And goes on why)" Then for the parents, I said, "Suffer in silence and don't take most of it seriously because..." Seriously! You can't do ANYTHING about these questions! At the end, they gave us a Hershey's Kiss and we were supposed to savour it my sniffing and licking and kissing it. Whatever, I was so hungry, I gobbled it down before the instructor could finish.

Then Doris, Sharron, Jose and I went to Yoshinoya for the first time for lunch (okay, first time for Jose and I). It was DELICIOUS! :D It was the first "proper lunch" outside school after we went into DGS. Usually, we had home lunch or Hot Shots at 7-11 or snacks. Then we had to wait for Doris to come out of Commercial Press so Jose, Sharron and I were singing the DHL commercial theme song.

"No matter where you are, no matter how far, just call my name..." I forgot the rest. :6 And the banking one "He's got the whole world in his hand, he's got the whole wide world in his hand..." LOLz. So awesome.

Then for the party, it was so boring. IT DIDN'T HAVE FOOD! WHAT KIND OF FREAKING PARTY DOESN'T HAVE FOOD??!! The games were so boring, I actually dozed off. The only good game was "Pass the Parcel" but the presents were so crappy like A PENCIL. (-.-) Cheapskate.

Tomorrow's Noah's Ark. Oh, great. I'm probably going to hang at the back of the group, lost in my own world and just look at stuff on my own. Might be buying my own lunch but usually, food at attractions are shit. I speak from experience.

Sounds Best

Good evening everyone! :) Blogging a bit late today because when I came home and ate lunch, I collapsed onto my bed and blacked out for 6 hours. Yes, I just got up.

Anyways, today was the first OLE day. Lame.

First, we had to check the Home Ec. test. I got 49/60 I think. That's an A-. Okay, I guess. But then the teacher kept on asking people to raise up their hand if they got full marks on a section or something. Such showoffs.

Then it was the DGS workshop. Lamest games on Earth! So Jose and I were just doing the screwing/drilling thing to each other across the room and at one point, I said, "Pedo!" a bit loudly and I said it at the time when the instructor paused so it was like the loudest fucking sound on earth... But luckily, no one understood. Then when we were doing this game, Doris fell on me, butt RIGHT ON MY FACE! But I'm not going to talk about it here because I am NOT a pedo. The Jose had to ask, "How was her butt?" And then Doris ended up snapping Jose's pinky finger...

Momma and Dad aren't going to have dinner at home tonight! :) The house is mine! Whatever, I'll just go to the supermarket or something and add a little more food that I want to my dinner.

I changed my profile picture on FB! Do you know what's wrong with it? It all started with Valerie saying it looked like me... Early Aprils' Fool everyone! (Credits to Isabel's album~)

Have a nice evening everyone! :)

Malfoy

One last post before I sleep, hopefully because the chocolate bar's suger is still keeping me on NINJA MODE...

Last night, on Facebook, there was this convo about HP’s character and houses. A bunch of people rooted for Harry and Ron and Hermione.

Me?

Draco Malfoy.

If I had to choose Harry or Draco, I would go for Draco.

Why?

Draco- He might have been a spoilt kid, a pain in the neck, had a rich daddy and a jerk but most importantly, he made wrong decisions. He made wrong moves in his life. So? He faced the consequences. He lifted his head up high and continued on with life. Not everyone could have done that, especially when you’re famous and all that. In some ways, he also taught me that everyone has feelings.

Harry- yes, he might have saved the world and all that but to me, his burden was lighter than Draco’s. All Harry needed to do was to kill Voldemort. But Draco had to fight his own self. He had to battle internally on what to do. He had to think about his father and his mother who wanted him to become worthy of the Dark Lord. But Draco didn’t. He had to kill Dumbledore to prove himself. But he didn’t and he corrected his mistake of lowering his wand. Voldemort could have killed him for disobeying him. His father could have disowned him for making him look bad because his son looked like a failure. But no. Draco Malfoy did not care about ANY of that. He listened to his inner voice and did the right thing. At all costs. But Harry? He didn’t have an inner struggle with anything. Only physical. Nothing really mattered except for staying alive.

Besides, Harry, to me, is too perfect. Like he doesn’t have flaws or makes mistakes. He’s so brave, loyal, smart at times and things like that but he’s always right. Like he was ready-made. That’s meaningless. And after he killed Voldemort, he was a hero. He was so cool and awesome, he had nothing to worry about now, really. But Draco, he still had a bitterness inside him, bitterness because of what he did. That bitterness with never leave him, it will stay with him forever. Many people can’t live with that but Draco Malfoy could.

And he did.
