Craving gelato

Hey! :) I know it's 12am but who cares? I need to finish up my English book thing and do Twelfth Night worksheets, do my English grammar, a Geography worksheet and my Chinese History report. Yeah, I've got a lot hanging over my head. I'll probably copy the first few questions Geography off someone since I didn't bring my textbook back and at least Chinese History isn't due till Friday. But still...so much work. :6

Anyways, spent my Saturday at Ophelia's. Loads of fun! :) Not going to list out everything I did because it would bore you silly (since we were walking around Elements and doing Potter related stuff). Just that I had the BEST mango tart ever in my whole life at her place today... :') I love it. Say thanks to your mom from me, Ophe!

When I came back to South Horizons, my mom told me to go to Park 'n Shop to buy a huge bottle of Coke since we had a hot pot dinner. On my way, I passed by Trevor Ng, I don't think he saw me though. So afterwards, I bought the Coke and pretty much regretted buying it since I had to lug it back home without a bag... -.-

And when I got home, I FINALLY ordered my copy of Out of Sight, Out of Time (Gallagher Girls Book 5) from Paddyfield's website! So happy! :D I tried looking for it EVERYWHERE. In Page One, in Metro Books... but they didn't even order any stocks so online shopping was my only option! And it turns out that Paddyfield books are so much more cheaper than the ones in the store! You can even chose paperbacks which makes it even more cheaper! I just don't like the wait. I'll probably get the book by mail in around the middle of May. Sigh...

So in the meantime, I have my eye on another series of books. It's the teenage James Bond, the series that has the title 'By Royal Command' in it? Yeah, that one (if you know it). I prefer those kinds of books that happen in an ordinary place but extraordinary things happen. Like spies and stuff like that. I've always wanted to become a spy for some reason. It's very interesting and exciting. But not sure if I can be charming enough or good enough.

And I've been searching for spoilers online. Here's some! :)

  1. Some quotes...
"Enemies are nothing, compared to traitors, after all. It's the people you hold closest who have the most power to make you bleed."
Listen to me.” He grabbed my arms, holding me there. “I couldn’t find you. And I will never forgive myself for that. Ever.

Zach,” I said as I lay there. “Where did you go? When you were looking for me?” I shifted in his arms, looked into his eyes.“Crazy.” His voice was a whisper against my skin. “I went crazy.
I am a very, very strong Zach and Cammie shipper. This is like...augh, SPEECHLESS!

2. There are Bex-Zach moments. WHAT THE FUCK? No, no, no, no, NO! This cannot be happening! Bex is supposed to be with Grant, the OTHER really muscular and strong Blackthorne Boy. Not Zachary Goode.

3. Cammie finds out about her dad. Apparently, the moment sent fans into tears. This just makes me want to read it even more. *Drools*

4. At the beginning, Cammie wakes up in Austria with her hair dyed and memory erased.

5. Bex, Macey and Liz are acting weird around Cammie.

6. Bex is being a bitch to Cammie. What? She's your bleedin' best friend!

7. JOE SOLOMON WOKE UP. The fuck, really? He was standing next to explosives and he woke up? Zach survived, I understand (he's Zach, okay). But really?

8. Something happened in Rome and a castle in Ireland. And something about Cammie jumping a circus thing. (I don't exactly know about that part either...)

9. Preston Winter's dad has something to do with the bad side so Preston might be out to get Cammie. *blinks* Fucking hell?

10. Cammie goes auto-pilot and does stuff without intention and realizing it. Like killing that man, for instance.

Unfortunately, mid-May is a very, very long time away...

Pottermore

The title says it all- I got onto Pottermore! :) Okay, I got on like, a week ago but I forgot to tell you... :P Anyways, you should really go check it out. It's hard to describe how it works since it's so visual and... different from sites like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr...

And you can pick up so many new secrets and additional information from Jo Rowling herself! :) I even got to know how the first meeting with James Potter and Vernon Dursley went. Apparently, they were at this Muggle restaurant. Vernon was trying to impress James by telling him about being the CEO of the company and his brand new car. James, being James, told Vernon about his vault at Gringotts filled to the brim with solid gold and his racing broom. Guess who exploded and stormed out of the place?  (Yes, it's Vernon. James probably stayed at the table and enjoyed the Muggle food...)

And you can get your own wand. All you need to do is to take a quiz and you'll get yours! Mine is sycamore wood with phoenix feather. 10 3/4 inches. Surprisingly swishy (I have no idea what does that mean...). It says that sycamore is wood for a questing wand. It's eager for new experience and has a high capacity to learn and adapt. The ideal owner is curious, vital and adventurous. The phoenix feather is the rarest type of wand core, is capable of a great range of magic and can sometimes act on it's own accord.

Yeah, you can find all of the wand wood/wand core explanations on Pottermore as well! Brilliant, eh? :)

It's kind of ironic how my wand length is in between James (11 inches) and Lily (10 inches). At least my wand is swishy like Lily's, whatever that means...

Of course, you can get Sorted too! I'm a Slytherin. I've always been aiming for Slytherin, I can't really see myself as a Hufflepuff or a Ravenclaw. I think I came quite close to Gryffindor but I think I was a bit more ambitious. I find it sad that Hufflepuffs are the underdogs, they barely have any glory or anything special. At least Ravenclaws are smart and Gryffindors...well, you don't need to know anymore about Gryffindors.

And at school, my house color is green and the house name starts with an 'S' so it's quite a charming coincidence. Although I'm a lot more supportive of Slytherin than my real house at school.

Okay, I've met some kind of Writer's Block for my James/Lily 'Seventh Year and Beyond' fanfic so I'm starting to work more on the Rose/Scorpius one. This one is very different. It's a really long one-shot really. They aren't best friends, there's hardly any magic (since it takes place over the summer) so I hope all of you can read it and as I said before, Scorpius is going to be very, very different from James Potter. He's...demonic sometimes and well, emotionally unstable.

But don't worry, I will also put out a Rose/Scorpius where they are best friends in Hogwarts with plenty of magic and Scorpius is the one that I know and love (the calm, cool, confident one...). So stay tuned! Until, like, summer...? Yeah, it's going to take a VERY LONG TIME.

Albus Severus, Scorpius Hyperion and Rose Weasley.
This is pretty much how it's going to look like in the fanfic where Scorpius and Rose are best friends. For the fanfic where they aren't, let's just say you don't exactly want to see a picture of Scorp.

Flagrate

Hey guys. I'm not feeling too well for the past couple of days. Had the first fever on Sunday night then second one in the middle of Sunday night (highest was 40.8 Celsius). It was terrible, my bones were hurting so much that I couldn't even pull up my blanket and I was freezing! It was the WORST fever I ever had. On Monday morning, I still had a fever (thank goodness it went down to 38.9 Celsius) and to top it off, my sense went numb so I was half deaf and I could barely feel anything. And I had this hangover kind of headache. I really wanted to vomit and I lost my appetite.

So I spent my whole Monday in bed until my mom came home to take me to the doctor's. And guess what? I STILL had a bleeding fever until 8pm! That was the longest and hottest fever I ever had.

Tuesday morning, had a fever at around 2-3am. Mild, thank goodness. Around 37.8 Celsius? I just took a nap with an ice pack. When I woke up around 6am, my 'hangover' symptoms and aches were HORRIBLE. The only thing I could do was to lie in bed. I didn't want to eat anything either and I was afraid that I would vomit it out.

I'm feeling much better now, thank you very much. Although I still have a pounding headache. I will be able to go to school tomorrow! :) I don't look forward to the bunch of homework I've missed out... Sigh... Anyways, thanks to Ophelia for collecting my homework! :)

Okies, I need to take a nap now!

Because sometimes, there are things that we don't want to know and better off not knowing.

NOT Hermione and Draco (it's just wrong). It's Rose and Scorpius.

James and Lily, I can understand but what about Snape and Harry?

I wish Jo could write a novel about the Marauders. There's so much I want to find out about them.

Question: What were your first impressions of the other three Marauders?

'It's better to die with honor than to live with shame.'

I'd love to own one of these shirts but I disagree with the 'pure-blood' on the Slytherin shirt. I think the word 'ambition' or 'determination' would be much better.

I wish I could draw like this.

This is the most perfect picture I have of the Marauders. Someone FINALLY got Prongs' hazel eyes. Not brown, not golden, not dark brown. HAZEL. (Another word would be 'butterscotch')

"You think the dead we love will ever truly leave us?"

This was a great inspiration for my Rose/Scorpius fanfic. But I've just started to collect inspiration so nothing will be out for a long time.
And if you were wondering, Flagrate is the spell for leaving fiery marks. Tom Riddle used it to spell out his name in the Chamber of Secrets. Hermione also used it to mark doors in the Department of Mysteries in Order of the Phoenix.
