Let it out

Hi everyone.

I'm not feeling good today. My aunt just called my mom to break the news of my granddad's passing. And now my mom's crying real bad and my dad is taking her to my grandparents' home to take care of stuff. Actually, I wasn't that close to my granddad. His brain went wonky when I was still young so usually at reunions, he just sits there and watch us eat and talk. He spews weird stuff sometimes and his eyes are always so glassy. The only thing fascinating about him is that he has neck hair. Yeah, he was really long strands of hair growing on the skin where is Adam's apple is. Which kind of freaked me out but I was still captivated by his ability to grow hair on his throat.

And that's basically my only impression of my granddad. But what I heard from my mom and relatives, he used to be a really good gardener and a Chinese doctor. <- To me, that is very, very hard to believe. I know he has a few shrubs and pots but...I can't really see him in his youth, working green magic. Much less being a doctor.

Okay, I might sound really horrible now but this whole gloomy atmosphere was a really good breakthrough for my 'Seventh Year and Beyond' Fanfiction. I was actually stuck on how to open up 1st of September with Lily finding out James is Head Boy and stuff like that then this...grieving news came and it just CLICKED. I had this idea of something related to James' parents, working closely with death issues and now I'm working out a storyline of James' parents dead and he tries to kill himself or something.

SPOILER ALERT!: So the new 'Seventh Year and Beyond' fanfiction is going to be very close with the theme of 'death' and the First Wizarding War. There will also be a lot of sadness in it and betrayal and Death Eater attacks. BUT there will be a lot of Lily and James in it. Their love will prevail.
