Fawkes

I watched Half-Blood Prince last night! :) It was a lot better than I remembered. Well, since I can understand what was going on. Now, I am reconsidering which HP movie is the best. All of them seems so awesome! But more points to HBP because it's really hilarious. Especially when Harry took the Liquid Luck. Such a pity they started to add humour to the movies in the 3rd last one because Harry is quite funny throughout the whole series in the books... :/ And you could really see who Draco Malfoy was. But I still really like the Order of the Phoenix. It was so touching when I saw the whole cast in the Department of Mysteries fighting with Death Eaters and in the Room of Requirement, practising magic. I'm anticipating the day when I can get my hands on the first and last two movies, they're the only ones I don't have.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure you don't want to listen to me spazzing over Harry Potter for the next hour. So lets change the topic! :) So... CNY, huh? No new clothes for me. All my mom's. Not a lot of red packets and I didn't even touch the measly pile of ang bao yet. Family gatherings are something I dread. Adults talk and the kids? We don't have the same interests or anything and we're getting older so we don't go crazy or play like we did a few years ago. Besides, we're forgotten because the fuss is all on the two newest babies. Whatever... So now I bring a novel and my iTouch to keep me entertained in the corner...Sitting on a really old chair... Alone... And on Friday, I'm going to my aunt's home for another gathering. But at least they have cats! :) I swear, I'm like an addict to kitties! So it's going to be me. All alone. In a corner. With cats. That, apparently, love me!

The only highlight of the week is tomorrow. I'm going over to Doris's for karaoke! Meh. It's the only escape from my "dear mother" and seeing people who are my age. Emphasis on MY AGE.

And just so you know, my mom's not going to the gathering on Friday because the friend, who literally disappeared for more than a year, called her and asked her and some other friends to go to her home on that day. And when you can see a friend who's been MIA, these ridiculous family gatherings don't seem very attractive. So I can finally go to my aunt's place on my own! (With my other aunt and cousins...) Because she's living in Yuen Long and the MTR trip and bus trips are really fun. The MTR is outdoors and the buses are so much more bigger than the ones we see on HK Island. And my dad is on holiday with some friend in the Mainland. Playing golf. I kind of feel sorry for him... :P

'Kay, bye! :)
